Children’s Author Karen Bowen

Local children’s author Karen Bowen will be dropping by The Book Nest on Saturday May 24th at 10:30am. She will read her book The Worn Out Flag.

It is a meaningful way to learn about our flag and how to honor those who have served our country. This beautifully illustrated book is a thoughtful lead into Memorial Day. Come and watch as we fold the flag and ready it to be retired. Approriate for young children, and adults alike.
